Frequently Asked Questions
What is an S-Pad?
An S-Pad is a specialty pad designed to pass cables, hoses, and wiring through a deck surface. Unlike standard mounting pads, the S-Pad has an open passthrough pattern — in this case a Y-shape — that allows multiple cable routing paths in one pad.
What is the Y-passthrough for?
The three curved arms of the Y-passthrough provide separate routing paths for cables, hoses, and wiring. Installers can run multiple lines through the same pad without bunching them through a single hole.
What is the tapped center hole for?
The tapped center hole allows a fastener to thread directly into the pad, securing the pad without needing a separate nut on the underside. This is useful where access below the deck is limited.
