The Scout 16 OEM Replacement Fuel Tank by Welding World is precision-engineered to restore the factory-grade performance and range of your classic skiff or center console. Masterfully fabricated from heavy-gauge, marine-grade 5052-H32 aluminum, this 32-gallon fuel cell features a specialized hull-conforming profile tailored to achieve a perfect, 100% drop-in fit within the vessel's tight factory bilge compartment. To guard against pitting, crevice corrosion, and harsh bilge-water exposure, the entire exterior surface is fully encapsulated in a premium, anti-corrosive black TarGard epoxy coating. Inside the tank, strategic internal baffle plates minimize fuel sloshing to ensure optimal boat stability and steady fuel delivery in rough waters. The flat top deck arrives fully pre-plumbed with heavy-duty mechanical hardware, including a precision-welded fuel fill neck, an integrated tank ventilation line, an electronic fuel level sending unit, and a brass 90-degree fuel pickup elbow. Built in strict compliance with NMMA, ABYC, and USCG specifications, this durable replacement tank delivers a seamless installation and long-term structural dependability for your coastal adventures.
